GSyC/LibreSoft was pariticipating at FICOD2010 during the session: "Not structured learning through social networks and mobile devices", a panel discussion in which it was discussed the possibilities in the field of education through the use of social networking (web 2.0, networking diverse social themes, collaborative courses) and mobile devices (accessible from anywhere).
In this session, LibreSoft explained the importance of FLOSS and Open Standards to help and foster the fast flow of knowledge and information through social networks. Thus, learning possibilities are improved. LibreGeosocial was showed as an example of FLOSS social network with these characteristics. Other Another LibreGeoSocial's features were pointed, such as, the need of GeoLocation and the importance of contents created by users.
