It's a pleasure to communicate you that there is a new version of LibreGeoSocial. You can download LibreGeoSocial 1.2 from Market. In the last year, this targets have been obtained:
- The most important of them is that LibreGeoSocial was used in the Albacete's Fair as Augmented Reality Tourist Guide, a great experience.
- Other important result is the project Gymkhana: is an open source education and geolocated game using LibreGeoSocial technologies.
All of this is the result of the efforts of GSyC/LibreSoft group (URJC), Andago Ingeniería (through Andago-URJC Research Chair, Future Internet) and the collaboration of CESLCAM. Moreover in this iteration, we have had the collaboration of as provider of the Samsung Galaxy S.
Release Notes:
- Improve the Augmented Reality Interface. Now, it's friendly with the users and it's highly configurable (see video)
- Faster implementation when the data/info is shown.
- Code Refactoring of AR module, REST module, Maps module and BBDD.
- Support for Android 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2
- Fixed bugs: 86

- Tested with Nexus One, Samsung Galaxy, Motorola Milestone and HTC Magic
I+D Notes:
- Developed a GogglesFLOSS system to detect and recognized images (like google goggles).
